History of the Company who made the Cincinnati Milacron Monoset Tool & Cutter Grinder
Incorporated in 1884 as the Cincinnati Screw and Tap Company in Cincinnati Ohio.
The company began to make Milling Machines and in 1889 it became The Cincinnati Milling Machine Company.
In the 1920s the company added the product line of precision grinding machines.
In 1970 the company changed their name to Cincinnati Milacron
In 2011 the company changed their name to MAG IAS, LLC
In 2013 the company was acquired by the French industrial group Fives (pronounced Feev). The name for the new division is Fives Machining Systems, Inc.
Since our company, Triple R Systems has been remanufacturing Cincinnati Monosets we have found three Models of this machine.
Model OT was made in the early 1940s.
Model OE was made in the mid 1940s through the 1960s.
Model MT was made in the 1970s and 1980s.
In the 1990s, the company stopped making the Cincinnati Monoset Tool & Cutter Grinder. You can no longer buy a NEW Cincinnati Monoset Tool & Cutter Grinder.
